Andrea Putman has dedicated her career to communications, outreach, and building partnerships to advance agricultural, climate, and energy issues. She serves as Assistant Vice President, Communications and Partnerships in the Office of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources at The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU). Andrea collaborates with member institutions and stakeholders to highlight the value of research, education, and Extension and strengthen coalitions.

KIM SCOTTO

Manager, Communications
Kim Scotto joined APLU's Office of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources in 2021. Kim provides communications support for the Board on Agriculture Assembly’s strategic initiatives, including social media management, graphic design, website management, email marketing, and meeting planning. She also manages the National Land-grant Impacts Database (NIDB).

DOUG STEELE

Vice President
Through collaborative partnerships with member institutions the office of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources focuses on broad cross-cutting issues related to agriculture, food and fiber, forestry, human sciences, natural resources, oceans and atmosphere, and veterinary medicine. The Board on Agriculture Assembly (BAA) advocates yearly on behalf of agricultural research, extension, and education funding. The BAA is also heavily involved in advocating for beneficial language regarding university priorities in each Farm Bill.

Kim Scotto joined APLU in 2021 as an Associate in the Office of Food, Agriculture & Natural Resources (FANR). Kim provides communications and administrative support to the Assistant Vice President for FANR Communications and Partnerships and administrative support to the Executive Director, Board on Health and Human Sciences.
