LSU AgCenter Soybean study evaluates residue control

A team of researchers from the Louisiana State University´s College of Agriculture conducted a study dealing with the implementation of different techniques to ensure optimal soybean breeding ground. One decisive factor, according to soybean specialist Ron Levy, is to make sure that farmers don´t burn harvested crop residue as it destroys organic matter and increases soil erosion.
