Agents and specialists from K-State Research and Extension play a key role in developing the 110 farmers markets and provide expertise to growers through classes, workshops, and conferences. Many individuals and families are improving their diets, trimming grocery budgets, and having fun thanks to vegetable, fruit, and herb gardening.
